The expansion of the Paris metro includes new lines and stations. Tunnel construction required passage through reinforced structures without lengthy removal of steel bars.
How the reinforcement was used
MateenBar™ in soft-eye zones can be cut by the tunnel boring machine during excavation. Its lower weight also made handling easier in confined spaces.
